You may capture cats that aren’t wanted, but you won’t get as many rewards for them.
Your Hunter has better odds of catching a cat if they have more EP. If your Hunter has more EP than the cat that he/she is trying to capture, it does not mean it is a guaranteed capture.
If the capture is not a clear win/loss or the Empire cat’s owner has not agreed to get captured, please contact an administrator through a note to the group. They will look at the roleplay and each character’s EP counts/strengths/weaknesses, and make a decision on the capture there.
An Empire cat owner can not say, “I don’t want my cat to be captured so he/she won’t be!” They may hand their cat over to the Bounty Hunters if they wish, but otherwise an admin will decide whether or not the Empire cat is captured.
Please roleplay out any captures!* Capturing takes a lot of work for both roleplayers, so we like to see some effort put into it! (*An exception to this rule is if someone is handing over their cat to the Bounty Hunters, in which case a drawing or story of the character being captured is acceptable.)
To get your cat back into the Empires after being captured you must build up 10 EP while your cat is captured. The 10 EP you build up will be used to “buy” your cat’s freedom, so the EP you gain there will not be kept by your cat after escaping/being rescued.
Once you have built up 10 EP to get your cat out, you now get to choose how your cat gets free! They can either escape or be rescued by a patrol from the Empires (doesn’t have to be from the same Empire). However, Empire patrols within Massilia are dangerous, and probably won’t be used very often. To downsize the amount of patrols into Massilia, you will have to apply to be on that patrol! Applying includes a drawing of your cat asking to be on the patrol (worth at least 3 EP) and a 100 word minimum thought process of your cat and why he/she should be on the patrol, r why they want to be on the patrol. If too many people apply, we’ll be picking the most thorough applications to attend.
While your cat is on captured time, they are not required to take part in assignments! Unless there is an event that calls for captured cats to do something, they are not required to do any mandatory assignments.
Wanted cats are chosen at random by the admins! We do not make Wanted Statuses by request anymore! You will be notified if your cat has a Wanted Status.

For each captured cat, the Hunter(s) who made the capture will get rewards! Soon we will be opening up the Saeptis (Roman name for a luxury shop)! Each captured cat is worth a certain amount of gold for a cat’s owner. What better to spend all that gold on other than pampering your cat that got you the money? Anyone who owns a Hunter will be able to go to the Saeptis  and purchase whatever they want as long as it’s in their price range. The Saeptis will include armor, jewelry, luxuries, fur-dye tattoos, and possibly more in the future.
The amount of gold earned for each wanted Empire cat is listed under their wanted status. If your cat captures a cat who does not have a Wanted Status, each rank has a set amount of gold to be earned.

If it is not obvious which cat made the capture, the gold will be split up evenly between the Hunters involved (given that they were active in the roleplay).
Aside from the gold, each captured cat gains the Bounty Hunters a bit of EP! There is a section of “Successful Hunt EP” that will tack EP onto the Hunter’s total. Each captured cat has a different amount of EP gained for the Hunters.
